About this role
BetterMe is adding a junior 2D motion designer for a three-month, full-time remote project with the possibility of extension. The designer joins an established motion team creating animated social and advertising content for the company’s global wellness products.
The engagement is structured as an entry point for a developing motion designer: commercial experience is not required, and the team provides feedback, mentorship, learning resources, and established project files while expecting careful, organized delivery.
Role requirements and focus
What you’ll work on
- Create animated advertising assets from briefs using the team’s existing projects and collections.
- Adapt video work for different social platforms, placements, audiences, and localizations.
- Apply sound decisions about editing, attention, typography, color, and composition to short-form motion work.
What they’re looking for
- Basic motion-design ability and confident working knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
- An understanding of video editing and how visual pacing guides viewer attention.
- Pre-intermediate or stronger English, close attention to detail, a learning mindset, and dependable self-organization.
