About this role
Labrador Transparency is seeking a contract art director for high-volume corporate-reporting work. The designer collaborates with creative and production teams on annual reports, proxy statements, sustainability reports, and related documents for United States corporations.
The role combines concept development, information design, and production leadership. It requires clear communication with the Manila production team, United States colleagues, and potentially clients, along with an up-to-date understanding of report-design conventions and the US business context.
Role requirements and focus
What you’ll work on
- Develop compelling report concepts that balance reader needs with each company’s brand.
- Direct and review layout production so a large volume of corporate documents ships accurately and on schedule.
- Explain design decisions clearly across distributed teams and, when needed, to clients.
- Apply strong typography, print, infographic, and information-visualization craft under tight turnaround conditions.
What they’re looking for
- A design-related degree or equivalent experience, preferably with more than five years in art direction or senior graphic design.
- Experience managing artists or typesetters and producing annual or sustainability reports is strongly preferred.
- Advanced Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat skills plus a relevant portfolio.
