About this role

The designer will work across Supabase's product ecosystem, helping technical users understand complex database and application-development workflows. Projects may include new features, onboarding, reusable product primitives, and improvements that make the platform more consistent as it expands.

The role is highly cross-functional and global. Designers are expected to make ideas tangible through flows, prototypes, and detailed interface work, then use research, feedback, and technical constraints to move the work from an early concept into a shipped experience.

What you’ll work on

  • Lead complex design problems while balancing developer needs, technical constraints, and product goals.
  • Create reusable product primitives and patterns that keep a growing platform coherent.
  • Use prototypes and research to align product, engineering, marketing, success, and design partners.

What they’re looking for

  • Strong interaction and visual-design craft with evidence of shipping technical or complex products.
  • Ability to prototype ideas clearly and collaborate with people across product, engineering, and go-to-market teams.
