About this role
This product designer will work across discovery and delivery with designers, researchers, content strategists, product managers, engineers, and customer-support partners. The role focuses on understanding customer and business needs, exploring alternatives, and turning evidence into useful web and mobile product experiences.
The work includes research planning, interviews, usability and concept testing, prototyping, design reviews, and close collaboration with Wave's design-systems practice. The designer will help maintain shared libraries while taking initiatives from early problem framing through delivery and iteration.

- Use research and product evidence to define and validate useful experiences for small-business owners.
- Create and refine prototypes and production designs that follow and improve Wave's shared design principles and libraries.
- Work transparently across product, engineering, research, content, and support from discovery through delivery.

- Experience conducting user research, including interviews, usability testing, surveys, or related methods.
