Ashby gives designers unusually broad ownership across product definition, interaction design, product management, and design-system work. The role is aimed at someone who can independently investigate ambiguous customer problems and choose the right level of design effort for each project.
The product serves recruiters, hiring managers, interviewers, and candidates across a large set of workflows. The designer will improve navigation, information architecture, UI patterns, and usability while also creating documentation and systems that help engineers and product managers make sound design decisions.
Role requirements and focus
What you’ll work on
- Own significant product problems from customer discovery and specification through detailed interaction design.
- Improve the shared design system and equip product and engineering teammates to reuse it well.
- Turn feedback and product heuristics into a prioritized usability roadmap across a broad SaaS surface.
